Scripture: Matthew 28:20

"And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

There are promises in Scripture that comfort us, promises that strengthen us, and promises that carry us through difficult seasons. Matthew 28:20 contains one of the most powerful promises Jesus ever gave: He will always be with us.

Notice that Jesus didn't promise an easy road. He didn't promise a life free from challenges, disappointments, or uncertainty. Instead, He promised His presence.

God's presence is what carried Moses through the wilderness. It strengthened David in the caves. It sustained Paul in prison. And it remains available to every believer today.

Sometimes we look for dramatic signs that God is near, but often His presence is found in the quiet assurance that He has not left us. When prayers seem delayed, He is there. When circumstances don't make sense, He is there. When we celebrate victories, He is there.

The promise of Jesus is not based on our feelings. Some days we feel close to God, and some days we don't. His presence does not depend on our emotions. It depends on His faithfulness.

Today, if you're facing uncertainty, remember this simple truth: you are not walking alone. The Savior who conquered death walks beside you. The King of Kings is present in your life right now.

His promise still stands.

Prayer

Father,

Thank You for Your constant presence in my life. Thank You that I never have to face this world alone. When I am afraid, remind me that You are near. When I am discouraged, strengthen me with Your peace. When I cannot see the path ahead, help me trust that You are leading me.

Teach me to rest in Your promise that You will never leave me nor forsake me. Let my heart be anchored in Your faithfulness today and every day.
