We Belong, We Belong

We Belong, We Belong

Scripture: Ephesians 3:1–6

There was a time when the gospel seemed exclusive — as if the promises of God belonged to a specific people, a specific lineage, a specific story.

But Paul says something breathtaking in Ephesians 3.

He calls it a mystery — something hidden for generations. And what is that mystery?

That through Christ, Gentiles are coheirs, members of the same body, and partners in the promise.

That means this:
If you are in Christ, you are not on the outside looking in.
You are not barely accepted.
You are not tolerated.

You are family.

The cross didn’t just forgive sin — it broke down walls.
It didn’t just rescue individuals — it formed one body.
It didn’t just reveal truth — it revealed belonging.

Our song says, “The mystery’s revealed — we belong.”

That isn’t poetic language. It’s biblical reality.

Today, live like someone who belongs.
Pray like a coheir.
Worship like family.
Walk in the confidence that grace has opened heaven wide.

You are not an outsider.

You are part of the promise.

Prayer: We Belong

Father God,

Thank You for revealing what was once hidden.
Thank You that the mystery is no longer a mystery —
that through Jesus, we are coheirs, members of the same body, partners in the promise.

Thank You that we are not outsiders.
Not strangers.
Not barely accepted.

We belong.

Forgive us for the times we’ve lived like we were still on the outside —
hesitant in prayer, insecure in worship, unsure of our place.
Remind our hearts that grace has brought us near.
Jesus, thank You for breaking down every dividing wall.
Thank You that Your cross didn’t just save us —
it united us.
Different stories, different backgrounds, one body in You.

Teach us to live like family.
To love without division.
To reflect Your heart to the world around us.

Holy Spirit, help us walk today with the confidence of coheirs —
bold, grateful, secure in Your promise.

We receive our place in Your Kingdom.
We receive the gift of belonging.
We receive the grace that made it possible.

All for Your glory.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
