Victory Underfoot

Scripture: Romans 16:17–20

There’s a quiet warning in this passage—watch out for distractions, for voices that sound smooth but pull you away from truth. Not everything that sounds good is good. And in a world full of noise, discernment matters more than ever.

But Paul doesn’t stop at the warning—he gives a promise.

The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.”

That’s powerful. Not just under His feet—under yours.

This means you’re not fighting for victory… you’re walking from it.

The enemy’s strategy is often confusion, compromise, and subtle lies. But God’s strategy is peace, clarity, and truth. When you stay grounded in Him—simple, obedient, aware—you’re standing in a position the enemy can’t overcome.

Victory doesn’t always feel loud. Sometimes it looks like choosing truth when lies are easier. Sometimes it’s staying steady when everything in you wants to react. Sometimes it’s just refusing to give the enemy space in your thoughts.

And here’s the truth:
God hasn’t called you to figure everything out—He’s called you to stand.

And when you do, He does what only He can do.

He crushes what’s been trying to crush you.

Reflection:
What voice have you been listening to that doesn’t align with God’s truth?

Prayer:
God, give me wisdom to recognize what’s not from You. Help me stay grounded in truth, steady in Your peace, and confident in the victory You’ve already secured. Let every lie fall, and teach me to walk like victory is already under my feet. Amen.
