Follow the Light You’ve Been Given
Scripture Focus: Matthew 2:1–10
The wise men didn’t start with a full map. They started with a star.
That detail matters more than we often realize. God rarely overwhelms us with the entire journey at once. Instead, He gives direction in pieces—enough light for obedience, not always enough for certainty.
The star didn’t answer every question. It didn’t explain the distance. It didn’t remove the risk. But it did something more important: it pointed toward Jesus.
There’s a quiet tension in that kind of faith. You learn to move without full clarity. You learn to trust God’s direction more than your own understanding. And step by step, the light becomes enough.
At some point, the wise men had to choose:
stop because they couldn’t see everything… or keep going because they trusted the One who placed the star in the sky.
Faith often lives in that same place.
Maybe you’re there now—between where you are and where God is leading, with only enough light for today. The invitation is the same: keep following what He’s already shown you.
Because the star was never the destination.
It was pointing to Jesus.
And it still is.
