Title: Only You Make It Right

Scripture:
Ecclesiastes 1:14–15

“I have seen everything that is done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind. What is crooked cannot be straightened; what is lacking cannot be counted.”

The writer of Ecclesiastes looks at life with striking honesty.
He observes human effort, ambition, and success — and concludes that so much of it feels like chasing the wind.

Have you ever felt that way?

You work hard, but the satisfaction fades.
You chase goals, but they don’t fill the deeper emptiness.
You try to fix situations in your life that simply won’t straighten out.

Ecclesiastes reminds us of a difficult truth: life under the sun cannot ultimately satisfy the soul.

But the message of worship changes the perspective.

When we bring our lives to God, the things we cannot fix become the very places where His grace works. The crooked places we cannot straighten become opportunities for His redemption.

The song “Only You Make It Right” echoes this truth. We stop striving to control everything and instead place our trust in the One who holds it all together.

What we cannot repair, God can restore.
What feels meaningless, God can redeem.

And when we stop chasing the wind, we finally discover the peace of resting in Him.

Prayer

Lord,
So often I chase things that leave me empty.
I try to control what I cannot change and fix what is beyond me.
Teach me to surrender those things to You.

Where my life feels crooked, bring Your restoration.
Where I feel empty, fill me with Your presence.
Help me stop chasing the wind and start walking with You.
