Nothing Can Come Between

Devotion: Nothing Can Come Between

Scripture

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?" — Romans 8:35

Reflection

Life has a way of making us feel distant from God.

When prayers seem unanswered, when relationships break, when sickness lingers, or when fear takes hold, we can begin to wonder if God is still near.

Paul asked a powerful question in Romans 8:35: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

The answer is simple: No one and nothing.

God's love is not based on our circumstances. It isn't dependent on how strong we feel, how successful we are, or whether everything is going our way. His love was proven at the cross and secured through the resurrection of Jesus.

Storms may come. People may leave. Plans may fail. But the love of Christ remains unchanged.

The same Savior who carried the cross carries you today.

If you're walking through a difficult season, don't measure God's love by your circumstances. Measure it by the empty tomb.

Nothing can come between you and the love He has for you.

Prayer

Father,

Thank You for loving me with a love that never fails. When fear, hardship, or uncertainty try to pull me away, remind me that I am secure in You.

Help me trust Your heart even when I cannot understand my circumstances. Strengthen my faith, calm my fears, and fill me with the confidence that Your love will never let me go.

Today I choose to rest in Your promises and stand on the truth that nothing can separate me from Your love.

In Jesus' name,

Amen.

Today's Challenge

Read Romans 8:35-39 aloud today.

Every time you encounter worry, fear, or discouragement, declare:
