MY STRONG TOWER
Scripture: 2 Samuel 22:1–4
David didn’t write these words in comfort—he wrote them after being delivered from real enemies, real fear, real danger.
He calls God his rock, his fortress, his deliverer.
Not poetic ideas—lived reality.
And the key line is simple:
“I called to the Lord… and He heard my voice.”
That’s it.
Not perfect prayers.
Not polished words.
Just a cry—and a God who responds.
We often wait until we feel “strong enough” to face what’s in front of us.
But David shows us something different:
👉 You don’t have to be strong—you just have to run to the One who is.
God is not distant in your struggle.
He’s not watching from afar, hoping you figure it out.
He is your:
• Safe place when life feels unstable
• Defender when you feel attacked
• Rescuer when you feel overwhelmed
And today, just like David, you have an invitation:
Call on Him.
Right where you are.
No filters. No performance.
Because the same God who delivered David
still hears your voice today.
Prayer:
God, You are my rock and my refuge. When life feels heavy, remind me to run to You first. I trust You as my defender and my deliverer. Thank You for hearing me every time I call. Amen.
