More Than We Imagine
Scripture
"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." — Ephesians 3:20–21
Sometimes our prayers become limited by what we think is possible. We ask for enough strength to get through today, enough provision for tomorrow, or enough peace to calm our hearts. Yet God is not limited by our imagination. His power is infinite, His wisdom is perfect, and His plans extend far beyond what we can see.
Paul reminds believers that God is able to do "immeasurably more." Not simply a little more, but beyond measure. Often the greatest miracles begin in seasons where nothing seems to be happening. While we wait, God is shaping our character, opening unseen doors, protecting us from unseen dangers, and preparing blessings that arrive at exactly the right time.
This doesn't mean God grants every desire exactly as we envision it. Rather, He faithfully accomplishes His perfect will in ways that ultimately bring Him glory and bring us closer to Christ. Sometimes His answer exceeds our request because His purpose is greater than our perspective.
When uncertainty comes, remember that your heavenly Father sees the entire picture. Trust Him with what you cannot understand, and keep walking by faith.
Prayer
Father, thank You for being able to do far more than I could ever imagine. Help me trust Your plans when I cannot see the outcome. Increase my faith, strengthen my hope, and teach me to rest in Your perfect timing. May my life bring glory to Jesus in everything I do.
