MADE IN YOUR IMAGE
Scripture: Genesis 1:27
“So God created mankind in His own image…”
There’s something foundational about this verse—it’s not just a detail in the creation story, it’s a declaration of identity.
Before you achieved anything…
Before you failed…
Before anyone spoke words over you…
God already defined you.
You were made in His image.
That means your worth isn’t based on performance. It’s not shaped by comparison. It doesn’t rise and fall with your feelings. It’s anchored in the truth that you reflect the Creator.
But here’s the tension: life tries to rewrite that identity.
The world says you’re what you accomplish.
Social media says you’re what you look like.
Your past says you’re what you’ve done.
But God says: “You are Mine.”
And His voice is the only one that gets the final word.
When you look in the mirror and don’t like what you see, remember—you’re not seeing the full picture. God sees His image in you. Not perfection in performance, but purpose in design.
Today, don’t just hear that truth—live from it.
Walk like you carry His image.
Speak like you belong to Him.
Worship like you were created for it—because you were.
Prayer:
God, help me see myself the way You see me. When I forget who I am, remind me that I am made in Your image. Silence every lie that tries to redefine me, and teach me to walk confidently in the identity You’ve already given me. Amen.
