Leave It All To God

Devotion — Leave It All To God

There are seasons in life when nothing makes sense. Doors close. Hearts break. Fear grows louder. In those moments, it becomes easy to believe the lie that we are abandoned or forgotten.

But often the greatest spiritual battles happen right in the middle of our hardest trials.

The enemy wants suffering to harden our hearts against God. He whispers that God does not care, that hope is gone, that we should give up. Yet scripture reminds us that God is near to the brokenhearted and faithful through every storm.

Sometimes we do not understand why trials happen, but we can trust Who remains in control through them. God does not waste pain. Even in suffering, He is shaping us, strengthening our faith, and drawing us closer to Him.

The twist is this:
What the enemy meant to destroy you may actually become the very thing that leads you deeper into the arms of God.

Faith does not mean life becomes easy. Faith means we trust God even when life is hard.

Today, whatever burden you are carrying — leave it all to God.

Prayer

Father,
Thank You for staying with us through every storm. When fear rises and our hearts grow tired, help us remember that You are still in control. Give us strength to resist the enemy’s lies and hold tightly to faith instead. Teach us to trust You in both joy and suffering. Remind us that Your love never leaves us, even in our darkest moments. We place every worry, every hurt, and every unanswered question into Your hands today.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
