Lead Me True

Lead Me True

It’s easy to believe everything we hear.

Advice comes fast. Opinions come faster. And sometimes, what feels right isn’t actually true. That’s exactly what Proverbs 14:15 warns about—the simple believe anything, but the wise take time to discern.

Lead Me True” is a prayer born out of that tension.

It’s the moment when you realize:

Just because a door is open doesn’t mean God opened it

Just because something feels good doesn’t mean it’s right

Just because everyone is doing it doesn’t mean you should

Following Jesus means slowing down long enough to ask,
“God, is this You?”

And sometimes His leading won’t make immediate sense.
It might go against logic, comfort, or timing.

But His way is always steady. Always grounded. Always true.

Reflection:
Where have you been moving too quickly without asking God first?

Prayer:
God, quiet the noise around me. Help me not to be led by impulse, fear, or pressure. Give me discernment to recognize Your voice above all others. Even when it’s hard, even when it costs me, lead me in Your truth. Lead me true. Amen.
