Devotion: Lead Me To The Truth
Scripture
"Now the Bereans were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true." — Acts 17:11
Devotion
We live in a time when information is everywhere. News, social media, podcasts, videos, and opinions constantly compete for our attention. The challenge isn't finding voices to listen to—it's knowing which voice is true.
The believers in Berea give us a powerful example. They listened eagerly, but they didn't stop there. They opened God's Word and examined it for themselves. Their confidence wasn't built on personalities, trends, or popular opinions. It was built on Scripture.
God invites us to do the same today.
When we feel confused, His Word brings clarity. When we feel uncertain, His Word provides direction. When fear tries to overwhelm us, His truth anchors our hearts.
Seeking God's truth isn't about winning arguments. It's about knowing Him more deeply. Every time we open the Bible, we have an opportunity to hear the voice of the One who loves us, leads us, and never changes.
The more we seek Him, the more we discover that His truth is not just information—it's transformation.
Today, ask God to guide you into His truth and give you a heart that continually seeks His wisdom above every other voice.
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for giving us Your Word as a lamp for our feet and a light for our path. In a world filled with distractions and competing voices, help us recognize and follow Your truth.
Give us a hunger for Scripture and a desire to know You more deeply each day. Teach us to test everything against Your Word and to trust Your wisdom above our own understanding.
Lead our hearts, guide our decisions, strengthen our faith, and draw us closer to Jesus. May Your truth shape the way we live, love, and serve You.
In Jesus' name,
Amen. 🙏
