Devotion:
In Your Plan
There’s a quiet lie many of us believe:
That we’re unnoticed.
Not important enough.
Not significant enough.
Just another life in a massive world.
But Jesus speaks directly against that.
In Matthew 10:30, He says that even the hairs on your head are all counted. That’s not poetic exaggeration—it’s a statement about attention, care, and intimacy. God doesn’t just generally love you… He knows you in detail.
That changes everything.
It means:
Your life is not accidental
Your struggles are not unseen
Your story is not insignificant
If God pays attention to something as small as a single strand of hair, then there is no part of your life beneath His care.
So when you feel overlooked… remember this:
You are living in His plan, not outside of it.
Even in seasons that feel confusing or quiet, He hasn’t lost track of you. He hasn’t skipped over your story. He hasn’t forgotten your name.
You are fully seen.
Fully known.
Fully held.
Reflection:
Where in your life have you been feeling unseen or overlooked?
Prayer:
God, thank You for knowing me in every detail. Help me trust that my life is in Your hands, even when I don’t understand the season I’m in. Remind me that I am seen, valued, and never forgotten. Amen.
