In Your Hand

Devotion — In Your Hand

Scripture

"My times are in Your hand."Psalm 31:15

Life often feels uncertain. Plans change, doors close, prayers seem delayed, and we wonder what tomorrow will bring. It's easy to believe everything depends on us. But David reminds us of a comforting truth: our times are in God's hand.

That means every season of life is under His care. He is present in the victories, the waiting, the disappointments, and the moments of joy. Nothing catches Him by surprise.

Being in God's hand doesn't mean life will always be easy. It means we never face it alone. The same hand that formed the stars, calmed the sea, healed the broken, and raised Christ from the grave is the hand that holds His children today.

When fear whispers that you've been forgotten, remember whose hand you're in. When uncertainty clouds your future, remember who already stands there waiting for you.

His hand is strong enough to protect you, gentle enough to comfort you, and faithful enough to lead you one step at a time.

Today, surrender what you've been trying to control. Place it back into His hand and trust the One who has never failed.

Prayer

Father,

Thank You that my life is in Your hand. When I am anxious, remind me that You are in control. Help me release my fears, my plans, and my future to You. Strengthen my faith to trust You even when I cannot see what You're doing. Lead me each day according to Your perfect will, and let my life bring glory to Your name.

In Jesus' name,

Amen.
