I Call Your Name

I Call Your Name

Scripture: Psalm 18:3
“I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I have been saved from my enemies.”

There’s something powerful about calling on God—not just thinking about Him, not just hoping things get better, but actively crying out.

David didn’t whisper polite prayers from a distance.
He called out in the middle of real danger, real fear, real pressure.

And God answered.

We often wait until things get unbearable before we call on Him. But this verse reminds us: calling on God isn’t a last resort—it’s our first response.

He is worthy of praise not just when life is good, but right in the middle of the storm.

And here’s the promise:
When you call, He doesn’t ignore you.
He doesn’t delay out of indifference.
He moves to save.

Maybe your “enemy” today isn’t a person—it’s anxiety, doubt, pressure, or fear of the future.
Whatever it is, you don’t have to fight it alone.

Call His name.

Not perfectly. Not poetically. Just honestly.

Because the same God who answered David is listening to you right now.

Prayer:
God, I call on You today. You are worthy of my praise even in the middle of what I’m facing. Be my rescue, my strength, and my peace. I trust You to move in my life. Amen.
