I Belong Here

Scripture

"So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God." — Ephesians 2:19

There are moments in life when we feel out of place. We may wonder if anyone truly understands us or if we'll ever find where we belong. The world often measures belonging by success, popularity, or acceptance, but God's family works differently.

Through Jesus Christ, we are welcomed into God's household—not because we've earned it, but because of His amazing grace. Our identity is no longer defined by our past, our failures, or what others think of us. We are sons and daughters of the King.

When we place our trust in Christ, we gain something the world can never offer: a permanent home in Him. Even when life feels uncertain, we can stand confidently knowing we belong to the One who created us, redeemed us, and promises never to leave us.

Today, remember that your greatest identity isn't found in your job, your achievements, or your circumstances. It is found in Jesus.

Prayer

Father,

Thank You for welcoming me into Your family through Jesus. Thank You that I no longer have to search for my identity because it is secure in You. Help me live each day with the confidence that I am loved, accepted, and called by Your name. Let my life reflect Your grace so others may discover that they also have a place in Your family.
