I Am Yours, Send Me

Devotion — I Am Yours, Send Me

Scripture: Isaiah 6:8

"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?' And I said, 'Here am I. Send me!'"

Isaiah's response wasn't based on confidence in himself. It was based on confidence in the God who had called him.

That's often how God works. He doesn't wait until we feel completely prepared. He invites us to trust Him first, knowing that He will provide the strength, wisdom, and courage we need along the way.

God's call isn't reserved for pastors or missionaries. Every believer has been called to reflect Christ wherever He has placed them—in the home, at work, in the neighborhood, or among friends. Sometimes our greatest ministry is simply being faithful in the ordinary moments of life.

When we say, "I am Yours," we surrender our plans to His purpose. When we say, "Send me," we place our future in His hands. That kind of obedience may not always be comfortable, but it always brings us closer to the One who is worthy of our trust.

Today, ask the Lord to give you a willing heart. Listen for His voice. Then take the next faithful step He places before you.

Prayer

Father, my life belongs to You. Thank You for calling me by Your grace. Give me a heart that is willing to follow wherever You lead. Replace fear with faith, hesitation with obedience, and doubt with confidence in Your promises. Use my words, my actions, and my life to point others to Jesus. Today I say, "I am Yours. Send me." In Jesus' name, Amen.
