Heaven's Hallelujah

Devotion: Heaven's Hallelujah

Scripture

"Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God."
— Revelation 19:1

Reflection

The book of Revelation pulls back the curtain and allows us to see what worship looks like in heaven. It isn't quiet or restrained. It is a mighty roar of praise from countless voices celebrating the goodness, power, and faithfulness of God.

What strikes me most about this passage is that heaven's worship is focused completely on who God is. No attention is given to human achievement. No praise is directed toward earthly kingdoms. Every voice points to the Lord.

Sometimes our worship is influenced by our circumstances. We praise when life is good and struggle when life is hard. But heaven's worship teaches us that God is worthy regardless of what we face. His salvation never changes. His glory never fades. His power never weakens.

When we choose to worship today, we are joining a song that began long before us and will continue forever. Every "hallelujah" we offer on earth echoes the praise that fills heaven.

Prayer

Father, thank You for Your salvation, glory, and power. Help me worship You not only when life is easy, but in every season. Teach me to join the song of heaven and lift my eyes above my circumstances. You alone are worthy of all praise. Let my life become a continual hallelujah to Your name. In Jesus' name, amen.
