Devotion – He Made A Way Back

Scripture

"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost." — Luke 19:10

There are moments when we all feel like we've wandered too far. We remember our failures, our regrets, and the choices we'd rather forget. We wonder if we've crossed a line that can't be uncrossed.

The good news of the Gospel is that Jesus never asked us to build our own bridge back to God. We couldn't.

Instead, God built the bridge Himself.

The cross is more than a symbol of forgiveness—it is the place where mercy met justice. Jesus took our sin upon Himself so that everyone who trusts in Him could be brought back into a right relationship with the Father.

No matter how long you've wandered, God's invitation remains the same: "Come home."

He doesn't receive us with condemnation but with grace. He doesn't remind us of every failure; He reminds us of Christ's finished work.

If you belong to Jesus, your past no longer defines you. His sacrifice does.

Today, thank Him for making the way back—a way none of us could ever have made on our own.

Prayer

Father,

Thank You for loving me even when I wandered far from You. Thank You for sending Jesus to make a way back through His death and resurrection.

Help me never forget the price that was paid for my salvation. Keep my heart close to You, and let my life reflect the grace You have shown me.

Use me to point others to the hope that is found in Christ alone.
