Grow In Grace

Daily Devotion

Grow In Grace
Based on 2 Peter 3:18

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever! Amen.”

Growth in grace isn’t instant—it’s a journey.

The call in this verse is simple but powerful: keep growing. Not just in knowledge, not just in discipline, but in grace—the unearned, undeserved favor of God that transforms us from the inside out.

The song “Grow In Grace” echoes this truth: we’re not meant to stay where we started. God didn’t save us just to leave us unchanged—He saved us to shape us.

Growth in grace means:

Learning to trust God more when life feels uncertain

Responding with patience instead of frustration

Choosing forgiveness when offense feels justified

Becoming more like Jesus, little by little

It’s not about perfection—it’s about direction.

Sometimes growth feels slow. You may not notice it day to day. But every time you choose surrender over control, faith over fear, and truth over lies, something is happening beneath the surface.

Grace is not just what saves you—it’s what sustains you.

And as you grow in grace, you also grow in knowing Jesus more deeply—not just facts about Him, but relationship with Him. His voice becomes clearer. His presence becomes more real. His character begins to reflect in your life.

So today, don’t rush the process.
Don’t despise small beginnings.
Don’t give up when it feels gradual.

You are growing—even now.

Reflection:
Where have you seen even small signs of growth in your life recently? Thank God for that progress, and ask Him to continue shaping you.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your grace that found me and still carries me. Help me to grow—not just in knowledge, but in becoming more like You. Shape my heart, my thoughts, and my actions. Teach me to walk in Your grace daily. I trust You with the process. In Jesus’ name, amen.
