Gotta Have A Dream

Scripture

"Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." — Psalm 37:4

Dreams can be fragile. Life has a way of filling us with disappointment, setbacks, and unanswered questions. Over time, it's easy to stop expecting God to do something new.

But throughout Scripture, God is the One who gives hope to people whose dreams seemed impossible. He called Abraham to become the father of nations when he had no children. He gave Joseph dreams long before they came true. He called David while he was still a shepherd. He chose ordinary fishermen to change the world.

The key wasn't that they had perfect plans—it was that they trusted a perfect God.

Godly dreams aren't about making our name great; they're about making His name known. When our hearts are surrendered to Him, He shapes our desires to match His purpose and leads us one faithful step at a time.

If your dream feels delayed, don't mistake delay for denial. God often prepares our character before He fulfills His calling. Keep praying. Keep serving. Keep believing.

The God who planted the dream is faithful to complete His work in His perfect time.

Prayer

Father, thank You for being the God of hope. When discouragement whispers that nothing will ever change, remind me that You are still at work. Help me to trust Your timing, follow Your leading, and never lose sight of the purpose You have for my life. May every dream I pursue bring glory to Jesus. Strengthen my faith today and teach me to walk confidently with You, one step at a time. In Jesus' name,
