CROWNED WITH GLORY

Daily Devotion (Tied to Psalm 8:1–5)

Title: CROWNED WITH GLORY

There’s something powerful about looking up at the night sky. The vastness, the silence, the endless stretch of stars—it reminds us how small we are.

That’s exactly where Psalm 8 begins.

David looks at creation and asks a deeply honest question:
“What is mankind that You are mindful of them?”

In other words: God, why do You even care about me?

It’s a question we still ask today.

We live in a world that measures worth by success, influence, and recognition. It’s easy to feel overlooked, insignificant, or forgotten. But Psalm 8 flips that narrative completely.

It tells us that the God who created the heavens…
the One who set the stars in motion…
is mindful of you.

Not only that—He has crowned you with glory and honor.

That means your life has value, not because of what you’ve achieved, but because of who created you.

You are seen.
You are known.
You are intentionally loved.

Today, instead of focusing on how small you feel, focus on how big His love is.

Let that truth reshape how you walk, how you speak, and how you see yourself.

Reflection:
Where have you been feeling overlooked or insignificant lately?

Prayer:
God, when I feel small, remind me that I am seen by You. Help me live in the truth that You’ve given my life purpose and value. Let my heart stay in awe that You would think of me at all. Amen.
