BUILD US UP
Scripture: Ephesians 4:11–12
Christ didn’t design the Church to revolve around a stage. He designed it to revolve around equipping.
Ephesians 4:11–12 reminds us that Jesus gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers for one reason: to equip His people for works of service, so the body of Christ may be built up.
Notice who does the ministry — the people.
Leaders equip.
Believers build.
The whole body grows.
You were never meant to sit on the sidelines of your faith. God has placed something inside you — a gift, a voice, a burden, a passion — that strengthens others when you use it.
The Church becomes strong when every part functions.
Unity grows when comparison dies.
Maturity rises when calling is embraced.
Today ask:
Lord, where are You equipping me?
How can I serve?
Who can I build up?
You are part of something bigger.
And when you step into your calling, the whole body grows stronger.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for giving leaders to equip Your Church. Show me my role. Give me boldness to serve and humility to grow. Build us up together. Amen.
