You Are With Me
Key Scripture:
"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me." — Psalm 23:4
One of the greatest promises in Scripture isn't that life will always be easy. It's that we never face it alone.
The Lord never promised a path without valleys. He never said there would be no tears, no disappointments, or no unanswered questions. But throughout the Bible, God repeatedly gives one promise that changes everything:
"I am with you."
His presence is greater than our fear.
His peace is stronger than our anxiety.
His love reaches farther than our failures.
Sometimes we look for God in dramatic miracles, yet He is often found in quiet faithfulness—giving strength for today, wisdom for the next step, and peace that doesn't make sense to the world.
Jesus made this promise before He returned to heaven:
"Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:20)
That promise still stands today.
Whether you're celebrating on the mountaintop or walking through a difficult valley, the Lord walks beside you. He isn't waiting for you to become stronger before He comes near. He is already there.
Today, take a moment to stop striving. Breathe deeply and remember that God's presence is not based on your feelings but on His unchanging character.
You are seen.
You are loved.
You are never forgotten.
Because He is with you.
Prayer
Father,
Thank You for never leaving me, even when I can't see what You're doing. Help me trust Your presence more than my fears. Give me peace when life feels uncertain and courage to keep following You one step at a time. Let my life reflect the confidence that comes from walking with You every day.
Thank You for always being faithful.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
