United With You

Scripture:
"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me." — Galatians 2:20

There is a longing in every human heart to belong—to be accepted, known, and loved without conditions. The Gospel answers that longing in a way nothing else can. Through Jesus Christ, we are invited into something far greater than religion. We are invited into union with Him.

When Paul wrote, "I no longer live, but Christ lives in me," he wasn't saying his personality disappeared. He was declaring that his old identity, ruled by sin and self, had been replaced with a new life centered on Christ. Everything changed because Jesus became the foundation of his life.

That same promise belongs to every believer today.

Being united with Christ means we never walk through life alone. His strength becomes our strength. His peace steadies us when anxiety rises. His grace covers our failures, and His love remains constant even when our emotions fluctuate.

This unity doesn't depend on our perfection. It depends on His finished work at the cross.

When you fail, Christ doesn't abandon you.

When you're discouraged, Christ remains with you.

When you don't know what tomorrow holds, Christ is already there.

Because you are united with Him, your future is secure.

This truth also changes how we see other believers. We are not isolated Christians trying to survive on our own—we are members of one body, united in Christ and called to encourage one another. The Church is strongest when it remembers that our unity comes from Jesus, not from our preferences or personalities.

Today, spend a few moments thanking God that your identity is no longer defined by your past, your mistakes, or your circumstances. Your identity is found in Christ. He has called you His own, and nothing can separate you from His love.

Prayer

Father,

Thank You for making a way for me to be united with You through Jesus Christ. Thank You that I never have to face life alone. Help me live each day aware of Your presence and guided by Your Spirit. Teach me to trust You more deeply, to love others more faithfully, and to reflect the life of Christ in everything I do. May my identity always be found in You alone.

In Jesus' name,
Amen.
