Truth Will Stand

Scripture: Isaiah 40:8

"The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever." 

Every generation wrestles with the same question: What can I truly trust? Opinions change. Cultures change. Circumstances change. Even our own emotions can shift from one day to the next. What seems certain today may be questioned tomorrow.

God offers us something completely different—His truth.

The Bible isn't built on passing trends or popular opinion. It reveals the unchanging character of God. His promises remain dependable because He never changes. When He speaks, His words carry eternal authority.

Jesus declared that He is "the way, the truth, and the life." Truth is not merely an idea to believe; it is found in a relationship with Christ Himself. As we follow Him, His Word becomes the steady foundation beneath our feet.

Standing for truth isn't always easy. It may mean choosing integrity when compromise seems easier, extending forgiveness when bitterness feels justified, or trusting God's promises when circumstances say otherwise. Yet every act of obedience plants our feet more firmly on the Rock.

Storms will come. Doubts may arise. Voices around us will compete for our attention. But God's Word has never failed, and it never will. Long after human opinions have faded, His truth will still stand.

Today, choose to anchor your heart in Scripture rather than shifting emotions or changing culture. Build your life on what is eternal. When everything else feels uncertain, remember that God's truth remains secure forever.

Prayer

Father, thank You that Your truth never changes. Help me build my life upon Your Word instead of the opinions of this world. Give me courage to live according to Your truth with both conviction and love. Let my heart remain anchored in Jesus, no matter what storms I face. Thank You for being my firm foundation. In Jesus' name, Amen.
