Worthy Of My Song
Scripture Focus: Psalm 101:1
“I will sing of mercy and justice; to You, O Lord, I will sing praises.”
There are moments when singing feels easy—when life is clear, prayers feel answered, and gratitude overflows naturally.
But this verse from Psalm 101:1 is different. It isn’t written from comfort—it’s written from conviction.
David doesn’t say he might sing. He says, I will sing.
Not because everything makes sense, but because God is still worthy in the middle of it.
Mercy reminds us that God is kinder to us than we deserve. Justice reminds us that He is still in control when life feels unfair. Together, they form the foundation of worship that doesn’t depend on circumstances.
So even when your voice is quiet… even when your strength feels low… worship is still a choice.
Not a reaction. A declaration.
Today, let this be your response:
“I may not understand everything, but I still know who You are—and You are worthy of my song.”
Prayer:
Lord, teach my heart to worship beyond my feelings. When I don’t see clearly, remind me of Your mercy. When I don’t understand, anchor me in Your justice. You are still worthy of my song.
