Daily Devotion – Love Remains

Scripture

"Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever." — Psalm 136:1

Every day brings change. Seasons change. Circumstances change. Feelings rise and fall. People sometimes disappoint us. Even our own strength can fail.

But there is one thing that never changes—God's love.

Throughout Scripture, God continually reminds His people that His steadfast love endures forever. It isn't based on our performance, our successes, or our failures. It flows from His unchanging character.

The cross is the greatest proof of that love. Jesus willingly gave His life so we could be forgiven, restored, and welcomed into God's family. Even when life feels uncertain, the cross stands as an unshakable reminder that God's love has not moved.

When you feel forgotten, His love remains.

When prayers seem delayed, His love remains.

When you're celebrating mountaintop victories, His love remains.

When you're walking through deep valleys, His love remains.

Today, rest in the confidence that nothing can separate those who belong to Christ from the love of God. His faithfulness is not temporary. His mercy does not expire. His love remains forever.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for loving me with an everlasting love. When my circumstances change, help me remember that Your heart toward me never does. Teach me to rest in Your faithfulness, trust Your promises, and reflect Your love to those around me. Let my life point others to the unchanging hope found in Jesus Christ.
